Foundation

Walls:  10' to 12' high in total(depending on your preference), concrete high strength walls using keystones into footings on top of poured concrete footings with a 60-mil flexible, polymer-enhanced ‘Watchdog’ waterproof foundation coating and an advanced concrete add-mix using  Xypex Crystalline Technology. This ensures no water ever gets into the basement from the outside. 

Perimeter Foundation Drain:  6 inch PVC drain with crushed stone around house foundation. Other proven 2026 membrane technology  also placed on outside of foundation and warranteed. 

Slab:  Poured concrete with Xypex Crystalline Technology over crushed stone over 6-mil poly vapor barrier and insulation. Radiant heat in slab options available to reduce heating costs by up to 50%. 

Basement:  Proper moisture barrier design and ceiling height 8' to 12'  to make the basement a usable space for:  Movie Rooms, Studios, and Fitness Center, Dance Studio, Wine Cellar, Play areas, Man Caves etc. Essentially 50 percent more usable space for an additional $25 to $50 per square foot depending on finishes and features. Also using steel beams for more open space feeling in the basement.
